Central Oregon Martial Art Academy resides in Acrovision Sports Center’s Fitness Complex. Our Adult Tae Kwon Do program was established in 1994 and throughout the years has supported the Bend/Lapine School district, the Ronald McDonald House, Boys and Girls Club, Sparrow Club, St. Francis School and many other schools and non-profit organizations.

Tae Kwon Do is a Korean martial art which originated over 2000 years ago. The modern practice of Tae Kwon Do has great benefits for all members of our society including fitness, health and an overall peace of mind. In a world filled with many opportunities as well as problems, it is nice to know that you can come train in a dojang that follows social etiquette, rules and provides a positive attitude toward life.
In training under Master Gustafson (7th Dan) (owner), Grand Master Rohr (9th Dan), Master McCarron (5th Dan) and Mr. Tucker (1st Dan) at the Acrovision Sports Center complex, you will be introduced to the world of Tae Kwon Do and see what it can offer you.
What is Our Tae Kwon Do Philosophy?
Within a safe learning environment, it is our duty as instructors to provide each student with the necessary tools to improve their way of life through etiquette, fitness and the culture of this Korean Martial art.
What Does Tae Kwon Do Offer Students and Family Members?
Etiquette: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self Control, Indomitable Spirit, Humility, Formality & Structure.
Fitness: Muscular Strength, Muscular Endurance, Cardiovascular Endurance, Flexibility.
Family Time: “Family time together”. An activity the children and parents can practice and become involved in, creating more unity in the family.
Korean Culture: Korean Language, Food, How the art of Tae Kwon Do Evolved.
